MVCS SonBlazers beat Cobre
Mesilla Valley got their third win of the year, defeating Cobre 48-37 in Las Cruces on Tuesday. The SonBlazers look to duplicate their success on Friday when they travel to Bayard for their rematch with the Lady Indians.
Las Cruces over Deming
The Lady Bulldawg’s coming off a second place finish in the Joe Armijo Classic last weekend, had no problems with Deming on Tuesday. Jade Brown lead all scorers with 20 points, followed by Devon Mulheron’s 14 points. Jessica Villezcas lead Deming with 11 points. Las Cruces sits at 8-1, while Deming falls to 5-3. Las Cruces travels to Roswell for a game on Saturday, while Deming hosts Alamogordo.
