After being outscored 11-7 in the first quarter, Magdalena rebounded to defeat Laguna Acoma, 74-39. Lady Steer Keanda Chavez, a sophomore guard, lead all scorers with 21 points, followed by Nicole Hardy with 20. Mallory Johnson lead the Lady Hawks with 16 points.
With the win, the Lady Steers go to 6-0 on the season, and prepare to host Estancia on December 29th. Laguna Acoma falls to 2-6 and will be at Navajo Pine on January 8th.
